Talia Marquez

Talia M. Marquez is an attorney in Burg Simpson's Workers' Compensation Department. She obtained her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2023, where she participated in the Criminal Defense Clinic and the Sports and Entertainment Law Journal. During law school she was awarded 'Best Student Lawyer,' completed a certificate in Workplace Law, and received the Scholastic Excellence Award in Employment Law. Prior to joining Burg Simpson, she served as a legal intern for Chief Judge Michael Martinez in the Denver District Court. She obtained her B.A. in Journalism from the University of Kansas in 2017, where she was a member of the track and field team.
