About W. Clayton Harris

W. Clayton Harris is dedicated to supporting clients through the personal injury process. Before studying law, he built a career in journalism and public relations. While at the University of St. Thomas, he participated in the negotiations team and worked with Professor Mark Osler, supporting efforts to lobby Congress on economic-based approaches to combating drug crime. He began his legal career as a deputy public defender for the City of Aurora, earning the Retureta Trial Excellence Award in 2016. He then spent over four years at a prominent Denver-area personal injury firm, during which he second-chaired a first-degree homicide trial and successfully defended 47 individuals against a company pursuing excessive fees from out-of-state customers. He received his J.D. from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis in 2013 and his B.A. in Journalism from Auburn University in 2005.
