About Robert Alden
Robert Alden spent several years as a commercial litigator before switching to plaintiff representation in 2001, when he joined Byrd Davis Alden & Henrichson, LLP. His practice covers personal injury cases including medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and product liability, as well as business disputes. Alden is Board Certified in both Personal Injury Trial Law and Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. His trial record led to membership in four invitation-only organizations: the American College of Trial Lawyers (Texas State Chair), the American Board of Trial Advocates (president of TEX-ABOTA and the Austin chapter), the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the International Society of Barristers. He holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in Best Lawyers in America and Texas Monthly Super Lawyers. Alden earned his undergraduate degree with honors in the UT Plan II program (1980), his J.D. with High Honors from the University of Texas School of Law (1987, Chancellor, Order of the Coif, Texas Law Review Editorial Board), and a Master of Public Affairs from UT's LBJ School (1987).
