, MD, JD As a licensed physician and attorney, Robert Messey, MD, JD has invaluable experience in both law and medicine. As a surgeon, Dr. Bob performed general surgical procedures with a special interest in trauma, plastic, and reconstructive surgery for over a decade. Graduating first in his class at Quinnipiac University School of Law, he now represents patients harmed by car accidents, slip and falls, and medical malpractice. Dr. Bob applies his unique knowledge of law and medicine while representing clients in complex personal injury cases. He also has extensive expertise in evaluating and preparing all types of injury cases and medical malpractice actions, with special knowledge of general and orthopedic surgery, obstetrics and birth injury, and emergency room treatment. Dr. Bob is highly regarded and frequently called upon by attorneys throughout the state for his ability to carefully analyze complicated medical-legal situations and explain how patient harm has occurred.
