Abby Chin, Esq. is the Managing Partner at Cooper Elliott in Columbus, Ohio, specializing in complex civil litigation. Her practice focuses on wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, sexual abuse, civil rights violations, and malpractice cases. Known for meticulous case preparation and persuasive courtroom skills, she has secured multiple multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements, including a $27 million wrongful death verdict (2025) — one of the largest jury verdicts in Ohio that year — a $5.1 million employment breach verdict (2025), and a $1.61 million police excessive force verdict (2024).
Chin has been recognized in Columbus Business First's 40 Under 40 (2025), as a Super Lawyers Rising Star (2025, 2026), and as a winner of the Conflict Prevention and Resolution Joseph T. McLaughlin Award.
