Meaghan Geraghty

Meaghan A. Geraghty joined Elk & Elk in 2025 as both a licensed attorney and a Registered Nurse, giving her a clinical foundation that directly informs her medical malpractice and personal injury work. A native of Northeast Ohio, Meaghan earned her undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University (cum laude) and a Fulbright Fellowship to Hong Kong, then earned a nursing degree from Kent State University. She worked as a nurse in top local hospitals and as a travel nurse before entering law, earning her J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2018. In law school she was named Outstanding Clinical Student and received the Pat Gies Memorial Award for professional excellence. She has handled complex medical malpractice and nursing home cases in Nebraska and Ohio and has served as a Guardian ad Litem. She is a member of the Order of the Barristers.
