Nicholas Harof

Nicholas E. Harof was born and raised in Alpharetta, Georgia. Before law school, he worked as an insurance claims adjuster, developing a practical understanding of how insurers evaluate and resolve claims. After earning his Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law, he practiced insurance defense, handling matters from early evaluation through trial and trying multiple cases in the courtroom. He joined Gary Martin Hays & Associates to represent injured individuals, using his background in claims handling and insurance defense to assess cases and address insurer positions from a well-informed perspective. In 2026, Best Lawyers recognized him in its Ones to Watch listing. Nick lives in Alpharetta and outside the office enjoys golf, reading, and attending concerts and sporting events.
