About Patrick Hagerty
Pat Hagerty has over thirty-five years of experience as a trial lawyer in state and federal courts across the country, concentrating in railroad, automobile and trucking accidents, wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury, product liability, medical malpractice, and commercial litigation. He has secured numerous multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements. After law school at Saint Louis University, he clerked for Judge Carl R. Gaertner of the Missouri Court of Appeals, then worked at a large defense firm before joining Gray Ritter Graham in 1992. He is a recipient of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys President's Award, a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers, and a past President of the Missouri/Southern Illinois Chapter of ABOTA. He was named Best Lawyers' St. Louis Railroad Law Lawyer of the Year for 2026 and is recognized in Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers in transportation, maritime, litigation, and personal injury.
