About Robert Jarchi

Robert D. Jarchi focuses on catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, environmental litigation, and wildfire cases. He filed one of the first wrongful death lawsuits arising from the Eaton Fire against Southern California Edison and is the only attorney who represented family members of every person who died in the Woolsey Fire. He also represents plaintiffs affected by the Maui/Lahaina wildfires. In 2023 alone he obtained over $100 million for clients in under 100 days, including a $49 million wrongful death settlement and a $45 million confidential settlement. Among his verdicts is a $33 million verdict in Gousse v. Budget Rent-A-Car/City of Los Angeles, a $7.9 million fraud verdict in Farraj v. Circle K Stores, and a $4.7 million verdict for the electrocution of a migrant worker. He was lead counsel in the Erin Brockovich-related Hinkley groundwater contamination cases. He received his B.A. from UCLA (1996) and his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles (1999).
