About Andrew Yaffa

Andrew B. Yaffa concentrates his practice on personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, and medical malpractice litigation. Since starting his legal career in 1991, he has individually recovered more than $500 million for clients. Andy has been involved in landmark cases that shaped Florida legislation and policy, including representing the family of Carlito Candelario-Herrera, a boy born without limbs after his mother was exposed to pesticides, which led to Congressional testimony; representing the family of Deputy Todd Fatta, whose wrongful death case prompted Broward Sheriff's Office to change protocols for serving warrants; and representing the family of two-year-old Haile Brockington, whose death in a daycare van led to Florida legislation requiring alarms on daycare vans. He provided pro bono representation to September 11th victim families through Trial Lawyers Care and is on the adjunct faculty of the FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.
