
About Cassandra Shashaty
Cassandra R. Shashaty grew up in South Florida and earned her B.S. in Political Science and International Affairs from Florida State University before earning her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law, where she was a member of DePaul's Health Law Institute and a contributor to their journal. While in school she worked as a paralegal and law clerk at several law firms, and prior to joining GWC she practiced workers' compensation law and secured favorable results for her clients. She is licensed to practice in Illinois and serves as a Committee Chair for the Women in the Law section of the Chicago Bar Association.
