About Daniel Streckert
Daniel H. Streckert earned his B.A. from Northwestern University and his J.D. from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law, and was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1976. He also holds admission to the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois (including the Trial Bar), and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit. Before joining GWC in 1979, Dan worked as a caseworker at the Cook County and Illinois Department of Public Aid and as an assistant public defender assigned to a felony courtroom. Over more than four decades at the firm he has represented hundreds of clients in all types of serious personal injury matters. He has attended advanced litigation training at Northwestern University Law School and Duke University Law School, and has completed more than 100 continuing legal education courses. He was named a Super Lawyer in 2018 and 2019.
