
About James Nawrocki
James J. Nawrocki was born and raised in Chicago and earned his B.A. in European History from DePaul University in 1982 and his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in 1985. Before joining GWC in 1995, he served as the top U.S. Navy criminal defense counsel from 1989 to 1990. At GWC, Jim handles the firm's most complex workers' compensation matters, including cases involving death, paralysis, spinal injuries, and difficult medical causation questions. He regularly represents injured workers and their families throughout Illinois and has been honored as a Leading Lawyer every year since 2013.
