About Louis Cairo
Louis A. Cairo is a partner in GWC's Litigation division and the son of managing partner Louis C. Cairo. He earned his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School and has been named an Emerging Lawyer by Leading Lawyers Magazine every year since 2018, an honor for attorneys identified by peers as among the top lawyers age 40 or younger. Louis A. has secured some of the firm's largest results, including a $40 million settlement for a union ironworker who suffered catastrophic injuries in a 20-foot fall at the Fermi Research project in Batavia, Illinois, and a $23.5 million settlement for a union technical engineer who fell 140 feet to his death at a Hyde Park construction site. He also worked with Louis C. Cairo and Michael Fisher on a $17.2 million settlement for a union laborer with a cervical disassociation injury.
