Omar Habbas

Omar Habbas, Esq. is a Personal Injury Attorney at Habbas & Associates with over 35 years of legal practice. Born in Los Angeles in 1961, he is married to Rio Habbas and has three children, including his son Tarik, who is now a partner at the firm. Throughout his career, his judgments and settlements have exceeded $450 million.

Habbas has been recognized as a Super Lawyer (top 5% of Northern California attorneys), holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, has been ranked among the top one percent of personal injury attorneys nationally, and has been named to Best in Business in Silicon Valley multiple years. He was nominated for Trial Lawyer of the Year by Trial Lawyers for Public Justice in 2016.

He is a member of Consumer Attorneys of California, the Santa Clara County Bar Association, the Alameda Trial Lawyers Association, and the National Association of Distinguished Counsel (Top One Percent Attorneys), and serves on the Board of Visitors and as an Advisory Group Director to the Dean at Santa Clara University Law School (since November 2016).

He earned his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1985 and his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California in 1982. He was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court on May 27, 2019, and is admitted to the State Bar of California.
