About David Brown
David Brown did not grow up dreaming of being a lawyer, but from the moment he stood up in court and selected a jury, he knew he was exactly where he was meant to be. He majored in psychology at the University of Alabama, where he was on the President's and Dean's lists and was selected into the Jasons Senior Men's Honorary. He joined Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and served in several leadership positions. He received a scholarship to the University of Alabama School of Law and was selected for the Moot Court Board. For many years, David worked on the defense side of civil litigation, gaining deep insight into how corporations and insurance companies assess, value, and try lawsuits. He then shifted to representing individuals. He has obtained millions of dollars for clients primarily in medical negligence and commercial vehicle accident cases and has successfully handled and tried cases across the Southeast. He was recently part of a trial team that obtained an $8 million verdict for the family of a woman who died after a doctor ignored her symptoms. He also obtained a close to $2 million settlement in a trucking accident case. David's service extends beyond litigation, including board service at the Shades Valley YMCA and Holy Family Cristo Rey, and Parish Council service at his church.
