About William Ballard
William L. Ballard brings more than 35 years of trial experience to Harris Lowry Manton LLP. His practice focuses on medical malpractice, but also covers product liability, serious motor vehicle collisions, and other complex personal injury litigation. Bill earned Martindale-Hubbell's preeminent rating and has been recognized in Super Lawyers every year since 2004, including six times in the Top 100 in Georgia. He began his career in a medical malpractice defense firm before turning to plaintiff representation. Among the cases he remembers most is a $200,000 recovery for a young woman with cerebral palsy, in which he demonstrated that her condition resulted from a delayed delivery rather than the infection initially blamed by the delivering physician. Bill received an economics degree from Vanderbilt University and his law degree from Emory University. He is a frequent speaker at legal seminars and mediates medical malpractice and other tort cases.
