About Philip Hearn
Philip C. Hearn is the founder and president of Hearn Law Firm, PLLC, and has practiced law in Mississippi for more than 30 years. He began his career as a law clerk for Presiding Justice Dan M. Lee of the Mississippi Supreme Court, then went on to associate positions at several Jackson firms before founding his own practice in 2008. Philip is licensed in all Mississippi state courts, all federal district courts in Mississippi, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the Choctaw Tribal Court. He also serves as Municipal Judge for the Town of Blue Mountain. Philip has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America from 2021 through 2024, holds a Martindale-Hubbell AV rating, and carries an AVVO rating of 10.0. He is active in the Mississippi Association for Justice, where he has served in leadership roles including Vice-President and Treasurer, and holds a Fellow designation from the Litigation Counsel of America.
