Cary Toland

Cary M. Toland, Esq. is an Associate Attorney at Herrman & Herrman, P.L.L.C., and a native of the Rio Grande Valley. He specializes in wrongful death cases and personal injury litigation, with a focus on representing clients harmed by negligence. Over more than 23 years of practice, he has represented hundreds of victims and recovered millions in damages.

Toland is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (since 2001) and has served on the Texas Board of Legal Specialization's Personal Injury Trial Law credentialing committee since 2010. Early in his career, he served as a Federal Law Clerk for U.S. District Judge Filemon B. Vela in the Southern District of Texas. He has been a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates since 2005.

His practice covers car accidents, truck crashes, wrongful death, oil rig accidents, workplace injuries, premises liability, product liability, medical malpractice, and vaccination reaction claims.

He earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from St. Mary's School of Law in San Antonio in 1992. He is admitted to all Texas state courts, the U.S. District Courts of Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the U.S. District Court for Federal Claims in Washington, D.C., and the Vaccination Court Bar in Washington, D.C.
