Karen Young

Attorney Young joined Keches Law Group in 2021. She zealously represents clients in seeking Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income benefits. Attorney Young began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Bristol County, Massachusetts. She served in the Appellate Division, arguing cases before the Appeals Court of Massachusetts and district courts. After leaving the district attorney’s office, Attorney Young worked as a sole practitioner, representing clients in civil and criminal appeals. In addition, Attorney Young litigated civil commitment hearings and appeals in the District and Appellate Division of the District Court. She also represented clients in guardianship proceedings in the Plymouth and Bristol County Probate & Family Courts. Before practicing law, Attorney Young adjudicated Social Security Disability claims for the office of Disability Determination Services. Her many years of experience as a senior social security disability examiner have provided her with a broad-based knowledge of the tools necessary to effectively represent clients in pursuing Social Security Disability benefits.
