About Christopher Canterbury
Christopher Canterbury has been practicing law for more than 30 years, focusing on torts and licensed to practice in Alaska. Prior to joining Kelley and Canterbury LLC in 2000, Chris clerked for U.S. District Court Judge James Singleton. He received his Bachelor of Arts in English from Hamilton College in central New York and his Juris Doctor from Columbia University School of Law in New York City. Chris is a member of the Alaska Bar Association and the Alaska Association of Trial Lawyers. He is also President of Fire Lake Arena Incorporated and a current board member of the Chugiak-Eagle River Chamber of Commerce. He has served as a past board member for FOCUS, Inc., which serves children with special needs in the Chugiak and Eagle River community, and has volunteered for both the Anchorage and Mat-Su Youth Court programs. He has also volunteered on the board for the Mustang Hockey Association and coached hockey and baseball for Knik Little League. His peer review was recognized by Martindale-Hubbell in 2016.
