Michael Maillis

Michael J. Maillis, Esq. is a Litigation Attorney and Partner at Kisling, Nestico & Redick, based in Cleveland, Ohio. He has tried over 150 cases in his career, the majority of those to juries.

Maillis began his legal career in January 1996 as a Stark County Public Defender, later serving as a Youngstown City Prosecutor and as an Assistant Mahoning County Prosecutor, where he was assigned to try major felony cases. In 2002, he transitioned to representing injured people in medical malpractice, personal injury, nursing home malpractice, automobile accident, and motorcycle accident cases. He also handles civil rights cases and represents people seriously injured in their employment.

Maillis joined Kisling, Nestico & Redick in 2013 and was promoted to Partner in December 2018. He is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest honor for an attorney chosen by peers.

He earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from The University of Akron School of Law and his Bachelor of Economics from Youngstown State University. He is admitted to the Ohio Bar.
