About Judith Livingston

Judith A. Livingston is a senior partner at Kramer, Dillof, Livingston & Moore and has been named one of the 50 most influential women lawyers in America by New York magazine and called a Legal Legend by LawDragon. She has won 37 trials with verdicts exceeding $1 million and negotiated hundreds of settlements totaling nearly half a billion dollars. She is President of the Inner Circle of Advocates, the first woman and youngest member invited to join that invitation-only group of 100 top plaintiff lawyers in the United States. She has been named New York Medical Malpractice Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers magazine for 2011 and 2013. In 2022, Livingston was inducted into the Maurice A. Deane School of Law Hall of Fame at Hofstra University. She received the Presidential Medal from Hofstra University and the Fordham Founder's Award in 2014. She is a fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Society of Barristers, and sits on the Board of Directors of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. Livingston graduated from SUNY Stony Brook with high honors and from Hofstra University School of Law in 1979, where she also received an Honorary Doctor of Laws in 1998.
