
About Roman Vald
Roman Vald was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1995 after earning his B.A. with High Distinction (Phi Beta Kappa) and his J.D. as a member of the Iowa Law Review, both from the University of Iowa. His practice covers criminal law, domestic relations, and appellate matters before the Iowa Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. He handles complex divorce cases involving substantial assets, property division, and custody disputes, and represents medical professionals in licensure matters before state boards. Vald is a certified mediator through the Polk County Bar Association and one of a small number of Iowa attorneys certified as a Parenting Coordinator for high-conflict custody cases. He has been repeatedly selected to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers.
