About Elijah Bergman
Elijah Bergman was born and raised in Burlington, Vermont. He attended Oberlin College and graduated in 2009. After college, he worked in politics, including on Senator Bernie Sanders' 2012 re-election campaign, before attending Northeastern University School of Law. During law school, Elijah interned for public defender offices in Vermont, Massachusetts, and California, and clerked for Judge William K. Sessions III at the U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont. After graduating from law school in 2015, he worked with local judges in Bennington County for two years. He then spent approximately four and a half years at a small firm in Middlebury, Vermont, handling divorce, parentage, personal injury, contract disputes, and criminal defense matters. Elijah joined Larson & Gallivan in February 2022. He is a member of the Vermont Bar Association, the National Lawyers Guild, the Vermont Association for Justice, and the Vermont Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and is admitted to practice in Vermont and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont.
