Jennifer Louis-Jeune

Jennifer Louis-Jeune is an attorney at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, working out of the firm's Charlotte, North Carolina area office. She joined the firm in 2025 and brings more than 10 years of experience as a criminal defense attorney, plus additional experience as a magistrate and mass tort litigator.

Louis-Jeune earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from Emory University in 2005 and her Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law in 2008, where she was a Stein Scholar and recipient of the Robert Aram Renzulli Prize in Criminal Law.

She is admitted to practice in North Carolina, New York, and New Jersey, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Western Districts of North Carolina, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the District of New Jersey, plus the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 2nd and 4th Circuits and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Her professional memberships include North Carolina Advocates for Justice, North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys, the North Carolina Bar Association, the Mecklenburg County Bar Association, and the NY Federal Bar Association. She was named to The National Black Lawyers Top 100 in 2025 and is fluent in Spanish. She authored the op-ed "Did you get what you paid for? Knowing your consumer rights" in The Carolina Journal (April 2, 2025).
