Nichad Davis

Nichad Davis is a personal injury and civil rights attorney at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, working in the Greensboro, North Carolina area. He brings other-side experience from prior work as a law clerk and attorney at an insurance defense firm.

Davis earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2013 and his Juris Doctor from Norman A. Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in 2019. Before law school, he served three years as a Teach for America instructor.

He is admitted to practice in North Carolina, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Davis serves on the Board of Governors of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice (2024-2026) and is a member of the American Association for Justice, North Carolina Bar Association, Greensboro Bar Association, and Guilford Black Lawyers Association.

His honors include Super Lawyers Rising Star for Civil Rights (2025-2026), Best Lawyers Ones to Watch for Civil Rights and Personal Injury (2025-2026), the National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 (2023, 2024), and North Carolina Lawyers Weekly's "Phenom" recognition (2025).

He teaches wrongful death CLE courses and founded the Rose From Concrete Scholarship Fund and the Davis Academy non-profit.
