Preston Lesley

Preston W. Lesley is a Partner at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, focused on personal injury litigation. He joined the firm in 2017 and was named Partner in 2024. He works out of the Raleigh, North Carolina area.

Lesley earned his Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Political Science from North Carolina State University in 2014. He received his Juris Doctor cum laude from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2017, where he was on the Dean's List throughout law school, served as the Class of 2016 Graduation Marshal, and was a Staff Editor of the Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical Law Review.

He is admitted to practice in the North Carolina Bar Association, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

His professional memberships include the North Carolina Bar Association, the Wake County Bar Association, the 10th Judicial District Bar Association, and North Carolina Advocates for Justice (Legislative Committee).

His honors include selection to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for Personal Injury Litigation (2024-2026) and the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 (2021-2025). He published "Abigail Alliance for Better Access to Developmental Drugs v. Von Eschenbach: Access to Experimental Drugs: Is Access a Fundamental Right When It Comes to Treatment of the Terminally Ill?" in the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Law Review (Spring 2017).
