Hannah Joly

Hannah Joly is an Associate Attorney at The Law Offices of Michael S. Lamonsoff, representing victims of personal injury and survivors of sexual abuse. A self-described aggressive academician, she completed a four-year bachelor's degree in two years and then earned her J.D. from Elon University School of Law in 2.5 years rather than the standard three. After admission to the New York State Bar, she began her career in civil rights, representing incarcerated individuals who were abused or injured by correctional staff or other inmates. She then joined an insurance defense firm, gaining insight into how insurers evaluate and litigate personal injury claims. She brings that dual-perspective experience to her current plaintiff-side practice, including cases involving sexual assault and abuse.
