Jerome Bivona

Jerome Bivona began his legal career as a Felony Assistant District Attorney at the Kings County (Brooklyn) District Attorney's Office, where he prosecuted and managed a rotating caseload of over 100 felony cases, including attempted murder, robbery, and assault. He presented cases to the Grand Jury, conducted pre-trial hearings and jury trials, and drafted indictments, search warrants, and subpoenas. He conducted one of the first virtual criminal trials in New York State during the COVID-19 pandemic. After leaving the DA's office, Jerome joined an insurance defense firm as an Associate in the Complex Tort and General Casualty Division, where he defended clients facing liability exposure in civil litigation. That background on both sides of litigation now informs his advocacy for injury victims at The Law Offices of Michael S. Lamonsoff.
