About Michael Lamonsoff
Michael S. Lamonsoff is the founder and owner of The Law Offices of Michael S. Lamonsoff, PLLC, and is widely known as "The Bull." Born and raised in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, he is a self-made attorney who worked as a construction worker, bartender, and porter, among other jobs, to fund his education. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arizona, then attended Columbia University on a merit scholarship, earning dual post-graduate degrees in psychology. He went on to attend Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. In 1994 he opened the firm with a single employee, himself, and built it into one of the largest personal injury practices in New York. He is licensed in all New York State Courts and the Federal District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He serves on the Board of Directors of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and has been elected by peers to the Super Lawyers panel six times. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the New York County Lawyers Association, and the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forums. His firm's results have been regularly featured in VerdictSearch's Top New York Verdicts.
