David Drake

David Drake has focused his career on personal injury and workers' compensation law in Iowa since his 1977 bar admission. Over more than four decades of practice, he has lectured before Iowa attorney groups on trial evidence, workers' compensation terms, mediation, claim investigation, and expert witness handling. David served on the Association of Trial Lawyers of Iowa Board of Governors from 1985 to 1996, chaired the Iowa State Bar Association's Legislative Committee for its Workers' Compensation Section from 2002 to 2003, and participated in the Iowa Association for Justice Workers' Compensation Core Group across two terms. He earned his J.D. and his B.A. in Political Science from Drake University in 1977 and 1974 respectively.
