About Kelly Sanchez
Kelly S. Sanchez joined Martinez, Hart, Sanchez & Romero, P.C. in 2010 and became a shareholder and owner in 2016. She earned her law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2009, prior to which she attended the University of Minnesota, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts with majors in history and political science and competed as an NCAA student athlete on the gymnastics team. Kelly's practice focuses on representing injured children, victims of crime, and individuals with disabilities. She handles wrongful death, sexual abuse claims, and civil rights cases, concentrating on holding individuals, corporations, and government entities accountable for preventable harm. She has served as a special prosecutor for the District Attorney's Office on rape kit backlog cases and volunteers with the ACLU Rape Legal panel. In 2019, UNM School of Law honored her with the Distinguished Alumni Promise Award. The City of Albuquerque recognized her in 2018 for her fundraising efforts for the Albuquerque Public Schools Title I Homeless Project. She was named a Super Lawyer in 2020 and was recognized as a Rising Star in personal injury and civil rights from 2014 through 2019. Kelly also coached youth gymnastics for over 15 years, including classes for children with special needs.
