Katherine McArthur

Katherine 'Kathy' L. McArthur is the founder and owner of McArthur Law Firm in Georgia, with offices serving both Atlanta and Macon. For more than four decades, she has dedicated her career to fighting for individuals who have suffered catastrophic injuries and families who have lost loved ones due to negligence.

Licensed to practice law in Georgia since 1980, McArthur focuses her practice exclusively on personal injury matters, including wrongful death, car accidents, truck crashes, and medical malpractice.

McArthur earned her law degree from UNC School of Law in 1979 and her Bachelor's Degree from the University of North Carolina in 1976 with Phi Beta Kappa honors.

She is Board Certified as a Specialist in Truck Accident Law, Civil Trial Law, Civil Practice Advocacy, and Medical Malpractice by the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA). She has been a Georgia Super Lawyer since 2005, Top 10 since 2018, and Top 3 since 2023. She has been named Best Lawyers Lawyer of the Year for many years; in 2023, she earned the title for two practice areas.
