About Genevieve Zimmerman
Genevieve Zimmerman is a trial lawyer with court-appointed leadership roles in major medical device and pharmaceutical MDL cases nationwide. She has held co-lead counsel positions in the Bair Hugger MDL 2666 and Smith and Nephew Hip Resurfacing MDL 2775, served on the Settlement Committee for the $1.43 billion Stryker hip implant resolution, and holds a seat on the 3M Combat Earplug MDL executive committee. She was part of the I-35W Bridge Collapse litigation that produced recoveries exceeding $75 million. In 2026 she obtained an $18.4 million jury verdict in a Jeep Grand Cherokee rollaway case involving an amputation. She has been named a Minnesota Super Lawyer every year since 2014 and recognized in Minnesota Lawyer's Power 30 from 2021 to 2025. She earned a B.A. from Macalester College (1998) and a J.D. from Hamline University School of Law (2003). She maintains an active pro bono practice for domestic violence survivors and immigrants.
