About Kathleen St. John
Kathleen J. St. John brings more than 30 years of experience to Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy, where she heads the firm's Appellate Department and has been a partner since 2001. Her practice covers appellate law, personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, class actions, and complex tort litigation. After earning her J.D. cum laude in 1982 from Cleveland State University's Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, she served as a judicial law clerk in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio under Judge Alvin I. Krenzler. She has been selected as an Ohio Super Lawyer for Appellate Law for more than 20 consecutive years and has been included in The Best Lawyers in America for personal injury since 2017. A past president of the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys, Kathleen was instrumental in reviving the CATA News magazine and has served as its Editor-in-Chief for more than ten years. She is also a frequent lecturer for the Supreme Court of Ohio Judicial College and the Ohio Association for Justice.
