Timothy Tonkin

Timothy Tonkin is a partner attorney at Phillips Law Group in Arizona, specializing in personal injury and wrongful death litigation. He has devoted his career since 1998 to helping people harmed by negligence from corporations, institutions, hospitals, and insurance companies. His current focus centers on sexual assault cases involving young people, rideshare sexual abuse, and institutional sex abuse cases.

Tonkin has continuously worked at Phillips Law Group since 2003. He earned his Juris Doctorate from ASU Law School and his Bachelor's degree from Arizona State University.

He is admitted to the State Bar of Arizona and the U.S. District Court for the Ninth Circuit. He is certified by the Arizona Board of Legal Specialization in injury and wrongful death litigation. He serves as a Fee Arbitrator for the State Bar of Arizona and lectures on personal injury matters for the State Bar of Arizona and Arizona Association for Justice.

He served as Co-chairman of the State Bar of Arizona's College of Trial Advocacy from 2018 to 2024.
