Background
Chad Propst is an attorney at Price Benowitz LLP focused on criminal defense, including DUI, drug charges, domestic violence, sexual conduct cases, and murder charges. Propst earned his Juris Doctor cum laude with honors from the Charleston School of Law, where he received CALI Awards in Legal Writing and Research, Historic Preservation Law, and Criminal Law. He served on Moot Court, the Federal Courts Law Review, and as Articles Editor for the Maritime Law Bulletin (MALABU). He is a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina. He is admitted to the South Carolina Bar. During law school, Propst interned with the South Carolina Commission on Indigent Defense, Division of Capital Defenders. He has served as an Assistant Public Defender at the 13th Circuit Public Defender's Office in Greenville and as Deputy Public Defender at the Pickens County Public Defender's Office. He is a member of the Greenville Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.
