Dayne Phillips is an attorney at Price Benowitz LLP focused on criminal defense in South Carolina. He has obtained numerous not guilty verdicts in felony jury trials and has successfully argued before the South Carolina Court of Appeals and the South Carolina Supreme Court.
Phillips earned his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2010 and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Carolina in 2007. He is a graduate of the National Criminal Defense College and the National Forensic College. He is admitted to the South Carolina State Bar.
After law school, Phillips clerked for John Delgado, a prominent South Carolina criminal defense and death penalty attorney, where he assisted in murder trials and high-profile cases. He serves as President of the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, on its Board of Directors, as State Delegate to the National College for DUI Defense, as a Representative to the South Carolina Bar House of Delegates, and as a Founding Member of the South Carolina Actual Innocence Justice Center. He is also Co-Founder of Direct Examination: A South Carolina Lawyer Podcast.
