About Emily Lagan
Emily C. Lagan is an attorney at Regan Zambri Long representing victims of catastrophic injuries and families in wrongful death cases. Since joining the firm in 2018, she has handled cases involving gas explosions, medical malpractice, car and pedestrian accidents, and defective products. Emily brings focused attention to detail to every case, serving as a devoted advocate from intake through verdict or settlement. Before joining the firm, Emily worked at Wake Forest University as a legal writing teaching assistant and served as Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board. Her Moot Court team placed second in their region at the National Moot Court Competition, and their brief earned a top-ten score among law schools nationwide. She is a member of the Order of Barristers and serves on the Board of Directors of the Women's Bar Association of the District of Columbia, where she has co-chaired the New Lawyers Division and the Young Lawyers Committee. She has been named to DC Rising Stars by Super Lawyers since 2021 and is rated as a One to Watch by Best Lawyers in 2026. Emily is licensed in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
