Laurie Amell

Laurie A. Amell, R.N., J.D. is Of Counsel at Regan Zambri Long, bringing more than 25 years of experience representing clients in medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death cases. She combines a background as a registered critical care nurse with courtroom advocacy for those who have suffered devastating medical injuries in the Washington, DC Metro area. Her results include a $20 million brain injury verdict in DC Federal Court, a $5.77 million wrongful death verdict, a $5.26 million traumatic brain injury verdict, a $3.526 million verdict for an incorrect diagnosis, and a $2.4 million birth injury verdict. She also obtained a $20 million recovery for an 18-year-old struck by a Smithsonian Institution bus.
