Bonnie Pierce

Bonnie F. Pierce is a personal injury attorney at Ricci Law Firm in Greenville, North Carolina. Her primary focus and passion are trucking litigation, motorcycle accidents, and motor vehicle collisions.

Pierce's path to law was sparked by personal tragedy: in 1993, her teenage son was killed in a truck crash. That experience drives her work and makes her a dedicated victim's advocate and promoter of highway safety. She has traveled to Washington D.C. to testify before lawmakers on rules governing hours of service, the need to keep rest areas open, and for tougher laws and stricter enforcement.

Between 2000 and 2003, Pierce earned certifications in Intermediate and Advanced Traffic Accident Investigation, Hours of Service/Auditing Driver's Logs, CVSA Inspection Familiarization, and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from East Carolina University in 2009 and her Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2015. She has been licensed in North Carolina since 2016.

Pierce is an active member of the Truck Safety Coalition, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), the American Association for Justice, Trucking Litigation Group, the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice.

She was selected to Super Lawyers Rising Stars (2024-2026).
