About Richard Schwartz
Richard Schwartz is a lifelong resident of Jackson, Mississippi. He founded Richard Schwartz & Associates Injury Lawyers, P.A. more than 40 years ago and remains a dedicated member of the community. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Millsaps College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1978, where he was a member of Phi Delta Phi Honor Fraternity and an officer of the Moot Court Board. During his career, Richard also served as a real estate broker and closing attorney for title and mortgage companies. He served as Assistant City Prosecutor in Jackson for 10 years and as City Prosecutor for Ridgeland for 2 years. His firm now focuses on personal injury representation throughout Mississippi. He is also the author of two books: "Pearl River Mansion" (2020) and "Two Dead & Counting" (2015). He is a member of the Mississippi Association for Justice, the Mississippi Prosecutors Association, and the Mississippi Bar Association, and has supported organizations including the American Cancer Society, Blair Batson Children's Hospital, the Boys and Girls Club of Central Mississippi, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
