June P. Bashant has represented seriously injured individuals for more than 25 years, focusing on catastrophic injuries in the workplace, on highways, from unsafe premises, substandard medical care, elder abuse, and defective products including pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Her preparation and thorough approach earned her recognition as one of the Daily Journal's top plaintiff lawyers in 2025. In 2024 she secured a $15 million settlement against The Regents of the University of California in a medical battery and negligence case involving a preventable medication error at UCSF. She has also recovered an eight-figure settlement for catastrophically injured tourists in a crossover collision, a seven-figure settlement in a school crossing guard wrongful death, and $20 million alongside partner John Feder for the wrongful death of a young professional exposed to a dangerous condition while staying at a hotel. Bashant attended St. Mary's College of Maryland (1991) and Widener University School of Law in Pennsylvania (1995). She was admitted to the California Bar in 1997 and joined the firm in 1999. She has served on the executive board of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association and remains active in SFTLA, the American Association for Justice, and Consumer Attorneys of California.
