Morgan Erickson

Morgan Erickson grew up on her family's farm in Gayville, South Dakota, and attended South Dakota State University, where she graduated from the Honors Program and completed a National Student Exchange semester at North Carolina State University with a 4.0 GPA. She earned her J.D. from the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law in 2020, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board and competed in four tournaments, reaching the finals in one. During law school she interned for the South Dakota Governor's Office. She received the 2024 Public Sector Rising Star Award and currently serves on the East River Legal Services Board and the Administrative Law Committee. She also coaches the USD Knudson School of Law Moot Court Board.
