Scott Abdallah

Scott Abdallah's practice focuses exclusively on personal injury, wrongful death, and bad faith insurance litigation. He was born in Sioux Falls and earned his B.S. from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota in 1990, then graduated cum laude from Hamline University School of Law in 1993. He began his career at the Minneapolis firm Moss & Barnett before returning to South Dakota in 1995 as Lincoln County State's Attorney, the youngest full-time State's Attorney in the state at the time. He was elected to two four-year terms and was appointed Interim U.S. Attorney in 2001. He has been continuously selected for Best Lawyers in America and was voted personal injury Lawyer of the Year by that publication in 2022. He is one of only 13 lawyers in South Dakota to receive the highest ranking by Chambers USA.
