About Carson Phillips-Spotts
Carson is dedicated to standing up for people who have been catastrophically injured or have suffered injustice in the workplace. At SGB, Carson represents people seriously hurt by the negligence of others or by dangerous or defective products, and workers and groups of workers treated unfairly through discrimination, harassment, or wage theft. Before starting his career as a lawyer, Carson completed a clerkship with a justice on the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Maine, where he was selected as the Charles Harvey Trial Practice Immersion Fellow and awarded the Alumni Association Award by the faculty. Prior to law school, Carson worked as an immigration services paralegal at the Latin American Association, helping low-income individuals and families navigate the immigration process.
