
About Julie Kline
Julie is a trial lawyer who has dedicated her career to fighting for victims. She began her career at the King County Prosecutors Office, quickly earning a reputation as a talented and fierce trial attorney. During her decade and a half as a prosecutor, she tried scores of cases, including time in the Most Dangerous Offender Program, and received the Outstanding Trial Advocacy award. In 2019, Julie accepted a position with the City of Seattle as a Senior Advisor to the Mayor, focusing on public safety and later leading the city's COVID-19 pandemic public health response. She ultimately served as Interim General Counsel to Mayor Durkan. Her desire to return to advocacy for victims brought her to SGB, where she focuses her trial experience on holding the powerful accountable.
