About Keri Smith
Keri M. Smith grew up in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Political Science, both with honors, from The University of Memphis, and during her graduate studies worked full time at a large personal injury law firm. She returned to Missouri for law school at Saint Louis University, where she served as Notes and Comments Editor of Law Review, was published in the St. Louis University Public Law Review, and clerked at an established personal injury firm. During her clerkship she argued before the Eastern District Court of Appeals. Since law school, Keri has practiced personal injury and insurance defense, giving her firsthand knowledge of how defense firms build their cases and where their strategies can be challenged. She has been selected to the Super Lawyers Rising Star list each year from 2020 through 2024. She serves as President of the Board of Directors of Great Mines Health Center, a community health organization serving those in need.
