About Stephen Schultz
Stephen R. Schultz is a St. Louis native who attended Christian Brothers (CBC) High School and Missouri State University before earning his law degree from Washington University School of Law. His commitment to personal injury law stems from his own experience: shortly after college, he was severely injured in a car accident, was hospitalized for days, and could not walk for months. The insurance company for the at-fault driver attempted to take advantage of him during his recovery. That experience shapes his practice daily. After law school, where he excelled in Civil Justice Clinics, Trial Advocacy, and Negotiation, he co-founded Schultz & Myers. Over more than 15 years, he has secured some of the largest verdicts and settlements in Missouri and is a member of the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forums, limited to the top 1% of trial lawyers nationally. Martindale-Hubbell awarded him an AV-Preeminent Rating, granted to fewer than 10% of practicing lawyers. He focuses the majority of his time on catastrophic and fatal tractor-trailer accident cases and has handled injury and death cases against trucking companies in Missouri, Illinois, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Ohio, Texas, and Indiana. He has also been inducted into Best Lawyers (2016), named a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by the National Trial Lawyers Association, and featured in St. Louis Magazine's Best Lawyers edition for more than eight consecutive years.
